ABOUT KEN

MY VISION

As a journalist, I tried to be fair to all those I covered or worked with, while also trying to be detailed and transparent in my reporting. Transparency should be the hallmark at any level of government, and I will strive to continue that as your city council representative.
Being a journalist also taught me to be a good listener and then share people's stories with our readers. Those same skills inform the way I serve Woodway's citizens.

Woodway is a tremendous community and we have loved living here. Because of my work at the Tribune-Herald, I could not serve in city government previously because of the wise ethical guidelines that good journalists follow to avoid conflicts of interest. I can now serve our great community in a different way. I am committed to working collaboratively with other council members, city staff and community stakeholders to serve Woodway to the best of my ability.
